Expanded eligibility for the Help to Grow: Digital scheme is now in place so that more businesses are able to take part by reducing the minimum number of employees the business must have from 5 to 1.This will allow more smaller businesses to access discounts worth up to £5,000 on approved software.

Small Equipment Grant open to companies in Telford
Are you looking to purchase a new piece of equipment to improve processes, develop new projects or services and grow your business?
Grants of up to £10,000 are available (50% grant contribution towards project costs) through the Small Equipment Grant, which is open to small and medium-sized companies in Telford & Wrekin. Check out the website for eligibility criteria here…..
Red Extreme Heat Warning
The Met Office has issued a red extreme heat warning for much of England. The Government has issued some heat-health-related advice which is available on the Gov UK website.
Reminder of heat-health advice
Everyone can help to avoid heat-related illness by:
- staying hydrated with plenty of fluids
- finding a cool living or workspace
- avoiding strenuous or extreme activities
- staying out of the sun at peak times
- wearing a sunhat and sunglasses, and applying plenty of sun-cream when outside.
If you or someone else feels unwell with a high temperature during hot weather, it may be heat exhaustion or heatstroke. Find out the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke and when to get help.
