Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a UK wide programme designed to help businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity by linking with an academic or research establishment and a graduate.
If your business has a specific strategic innovation project in mind, the University can help recruit a suitably skilled graduate capable of leading the project. For its duration, the University will then act as the graduate’s employer. This allows a business to gain academic expertise that is not currently in-house which can improve performance and help increase competitiveness.
It is part funded by a grant. The business contributes to the salary of the graduate and towards the cost of a supervisor who oversees the scheme.
If you are Interested please visit the University website for contact details.
